Nigerians Hail Aisha Buhari As She Reposts Videos Of Senators Criticizing Buhari

Aisha-Buhari-President-Muhammadu-Buhari-the-juicy-blogThe wife of the President, Hajiya Aisha Buhari, is currently the hottest topic on Nigeria’s social media space after she tactically endorsed the position of some Nigerians who are criticizing her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari.

At a time officials around the President are praising him to high heavens and calling on him to run for a second term in office, Aisha Buhari reposted videos of two senators criticizing some actions of her husband on her verified Twitter handle @aishambuhari.

The videos, which showed Senator Isah Misau (APC, Bauchi Central) and Senator Ben Bruce (PDP, Bayelsa East) bashing President Buhari, were originally posted by Oak Television on Twitter.

In one of the videos, Senator Misau came hard on the President on the floor of the Senate for appointing too many incompetent people into sensitive positions in his government. He also accused Mr. Buhari of doing nothing to move the country forward since he assumed office.

“Today, the DG NIA that was just appointed, is he qualified to be there? He’s not qualified. This is the person that failed two exams, we know. He failed two exams and just because he is close to people taking decisions, he was appointed”.

“So many incompetent people are holding so many positions. Fifty per cent of the ministers are not performing. Since the president assumed office he has not taken any decision to move this country. Today we are seeing it and everybody is avoiding it, nobody wants to say anything”, Misau said in the video.

In the other video she reposted, Senator Murray-Bruce, also on the floor of the Senate, was seen coming hard on the Federal Government, claiming Nigeria is a lawless country where “there’s no consequence for bad behaviour”.

It was not clear as of the time of publishing this report if Mrs. Aisha Buhari decided to share the videos because she shares the views of the senators who were very critical of her husband but the juicy blog recalls that this is not the first time she will be openly in disagreement with the President.

In a viral BBC interview in October 2016, Mrs. Aisha Buhari suggested that her husband’s government had been hijacked by only a “few people”, who were behind presidential appointments and warned that she may not support him for a second term if he fails to live up to the expectations of Nigerians who voted him into office.

Since reposting the videos yesterday, her first posts on the micro-blogging site in the New Year, Mrs. Buhari has been receiving praises from Nigerians for standing up for the truth.
