It is no longer news that Mavin Singer, Reekado Banks is currently enmeshed in a controversy involving his brother/manager, Temi and a Media Personality, Uwa Idahosa at the Ogba Police Area Command in Lagos.
The juicy blog had reported that Temi, on behalf of Reekado Banks, received a payment of N2 million from Idahosa, who is a comedian/OAP with 99.3 Nigeria Info FM, Lagos, to perform at a wedding in Benin City, Edo State but failed to show up.
The OAP, who contracted the Mavin Records star on behalf of the couple, demanded a full refund but Reekado Banks and his manager offered to pay only N800,000 of the sum claiming they incurred some logistics cost as well; a decision that prompted Idahosa and the couple’s relatives to report the matter at the police station.

Now, it has been learnt that the Police authorities have given the singer and his manager, Temi an ultimatum till Monday to refund the sum of N2 million to the couple.
When Temi, who is also elder brother to Reekado Banks was contacted by NET on the issue, he denied the allegations, promising to tell their own side of the story “when the right time comes”.
“All the allegations are not true, I will rather let the matter remain as it is. When the right time comes, we will let the public know what transpired between both parties”, he said.
